Lagoon 40

Exterior design: space and comfort • A comfortable cockpit, open to the sea: a dining table on the port side which can seat up to twelve guests, a lounge area on the same side and seating on the aft beam. • Ergonomically-designed helm station accessed from the cockpit or the deck, ensuring constant communication between skipper and crew. • Broad aft transoms and a large swim platform giving access to the tender and making it safe and easy to come aboard. • A forward cockpit with sun lounge provides another living area.

lnterior design: elegant and full of light • A choice of sophisticated materials, by Nauta Design, to set off the beauty of the new interior lines. • A wide choice of layouts for owners and large families: available in three- or four-cabin versions. • A new aft cabin, with a «Semi-Island» bed and lots of stowage space. • Huge hull windows with integrated porthole, making the cabins incredibly light and affording breathtaking views from the cabins. Particular attention has been paid to the layout of the different spaces of the new interior, making life on board truly pleasurable, easy to move around and filled with natural light. New-generation rigging Symbolising a whole new generation of Lagoons, the 40 boasts enhanced performance thanks to a VPLP-designed hull and an enhanced rigging plan which provides a better Sail Area / Displacement ratio, making her a fast, seaworthy boat. The decision to push back the mast, a direct result of VPLP’s competitive racing experience, has a number of advantages for this catamaran: • A self-tacking jib for easy manoeuvring, • A large forward triangle for a wider choice of downwind sails and guaranteed performance, • A shorter boom makes manoeuvring much simpler, • A high aspect ratio mainsail means that you can make the most of less air disturbance at height, thereby improving performance.
